My Approach
This work is not about fixing you. It is about helping you see clearly.
You are not broken. You are not lost. You are standing at a threshold and you have been standing there long enough that the waiting has started to cost you something.
The work here uses tarot, Jungian shadow work, and Scottish folklore as a unified system for the moment before you choose yourself. Not for healing in the abstract. For the specific decision you have been circling.
Tarot for Self-Reflection
Tarot, used this way, is not about the future.
It is a mirror, a symbolic language for what is already present but not yet named. The cards do not tell you what to do. They show you what you already sense, with enough clarity that you can no longer quite talk yourself out of it.
I do not read the future. I help you see this moment, honestly, and without looking away.
Shadow Work as Information
Shadow work is not about excavating damage.
It is about understanding the patterns that have been quietly running your decisions.
The people-pleasing. The circling. The way you make yourself smaller to keep things steady. These are not character flaws. They are patterns that made sense once
and are now costing you more than they protect you.
Shadow work names them. Not to shame them. To give you a choice about whether to keep following them.
Folklore & Story
Scottish folklore has always understood the threshold.
The Cailleach, who holds winter until she is ready to release it. The Selkie, who hides her true nature to belong somewhere she was never quite meant to stay. The crossroads, where the old path ends and the new one has not yet declared itself.
These stories are not metaphors I have borrowed. They are the landscape I come from. They carry a particular kind of truth, the kind that logic cannot reach, but that the body recognises immediately.
Story, here, is not decoration. It is how the work finds what analysis misses.
Pace
This work does not rush you.
There is no expectation of constant progress, no pressure to arrive at insight on a schedule. You can return to things slowly. You can sit with what emerges before you decide what to do with it.
Clarity does not arrive through force. It arrives through the willingness to keep looking honestly at what is already there.
Personal Sovereignty
I am not the authority on your life. You are.
I will not tell you what to choose, who to become, or how to interpret what you find. My role is to create the conditions for honest self-reflection and then get out of the way.
Whatever clarity emerges in this work is yours. It was always yours. This work just makes it harder to keep ignoring.
Who This Work Is For
This work is for the woman who has done enough self-work to understand herself and is still not acting on what she knows.
She can articulate her patterns. She recognises her loops. She has had the insight. What she hasn’t had is a space that holds her at the moment of truth and doesn’t let her leave the same way she arrived.
If you are looking for prediction, validation, or someone to make the decision for you, this is not the right work. Not because there is anything wrong with needing those things, but because this work asks something different of you.
It asks you to stop waiting for permission. And to trust what you already know.
What You Can Expect
Whether through a reflective tarot reading, self-guided shadow work, or a seasonal journey, you can expect:
~ Grounded, thoughtful insight without spiritual bypassing
~ Language that helps you name what you have been carrying
~ Space to reflect without pressure or expectation
~ Respect for nuance, complexity, and your own inner authority
~ Support that strengthens self-trust rather than replacing it
You will not be rushed, fixed, or bypassed.
You have been here long enough.
Not uncertain. Not unready. Standing at the threshold you have been circling, with enough self-awareness to know exactly what this is, and enough history of waiting to know that more waiting will not resolve it.
The work begins when you decide to stop looking for one more reason to wait.
