You already know.

You're just not acting on it yet.

Tarot, shadow work, and Scottish folklore for the moment before courage.

You have been here before ~ circling the same decision, waiting for the moment it feels right to act. It doesn't arrive that way. This is where you stop waiting.

Who This Is For...

The woman who looks completely fine from the outside and feels quietly wrong on the inside.

Not broken. Not lost. Standing at a threshold she has been circling for longer than feels comfortable to admit.

She has done the self-work. She knows the language. She can articulate her patterns. And she is still not acting on what she knows.

She is not looking for someone to tell her what to do. She is ready for something that will not let her keep avoiding what she already knows.

What Makes This Different

Most spiritual spaces offer comfort. This one offers honesty.

The work draws on Jungian shadow work, Scottish folklore, and tarot as a unified system. Not for healing in the abstract. For the decision you have been circling.

The Scottish folklore is not decorative. It carries a particular kind of psychological truth, the kind that lives in stories about thresholds, crossings, and what we leave behind.

The Shadow Map

If you have been circling the same decision for longer than you want to admit, this is where we start.

A tarot and oracle reading rooted in Jungian shadow work and Scottish folklore archetypes. It will not tell you what to do. It will show you what you have been avoiding and what becomes possible when you stop.

This is tarot for self-trust, not future forecasting.

At the Threshold

Shadow work prompts, reflective practices, and journaling tools for private, unhurried exploration. Designed for women who want to do this work in their own time, without pressure or performance.

Root & Ritual Path

For women ready to tend to the deeper patterns shaping their lives, with support, structure, and space. A seasonal shadow work experience rooted in tarot, ritual, and folklore.

About Sage in the Sky

I'm Carrie, a tarot practitioner, shadow work guide, and storyteller based in Scotland.

I have spent years in the folklore, the psychology, and the particular experience of knowing what needs to change and finding reasons not to. That territory ~ the space between knowing and choosing ~ is where this work lives.

I do not offer reassurance. I offer the kind of honest, grounded reflection that makes it harder to keep avoiding what you already know.

Lantern Letters ~ Sundays

A weekly reflection on decisions, shadow work, and Scottish folklore. Written for women who are done circling. Honest, grounded, and worth making time for.

You have been here long enough.

Not lost. Not broken. Standing at a threshold you have been circling for longer than feels comfortable to admit.

You know what this is. You are just waiting for something to make it feel safe to act.

It does not arrive that way. But the work can begin here.
