The Root & Ritual Path™
A Celtic Tree Journey of Shadow & Sovereignty
Shadow work · Scottish folklore · Ritual · Sovereignty
You may have felt it for a while now.
A quiet tug.
A restlessness beneath the surface.
A sense that the old ways of coping, striving or staying small no longer fit.
Perhaps you’ve done “the work” before, journaling, therapy, spiritual practices & yet something deeper is still asking to be met.
Not loudly.
But persistently.
The Root & Ritual Path is for women who are no longer seeking surface-level answers.
It’s for those who are ready to listen beneath the noise.
To meet the shadow without fear.
To reclaim their voice, intuition and authority, gently, honestly and at their own pace.
What makes this path different
Most personal growth programmes move in straight lines.
This one doesn’t.
The Root & Ritual Path follows the wisdom of the Celtic trees, cyclical, seasonal and rooted in the land, guiding you through shadow work in a way that honours your nervous system, your lived experience and your innate knowing.
Here, shadow work is not dramatic or overwhelming.
It is slow.
Grounded.
Relational.
We work with:
~ shadow as messenger, not enemy
~ ritual as embodied integration
~ folklore as ancestral memory
~ Tarot as reflection, not prediction
This is deep work, held with care, ethics & spaciousness.
THE JOURNEY ~ ROOTS → TRUNK → CROWN
ROOTS ~ Grounding & Revelation
We begin beneath the surface.
Here, you uncover the patterns, stories and protective habits that have shaped you, without judgment.
This phase is about:
~ safety
~ self-trust
~ listening
~ seeing clearly
TRUNK ~ Integration & Choice
The place of strength and structure.
Here, you work with boundaries, power and personal truth.
This phase is about:
~ meeting conflict honestly
~ reclaiming authority
~ making conscious choices
~ holding yourself with steadiness
CROWN ~ Sovereignty & Expression
We rise, not away from the shadow but because of it.
This phase is about:
~ integration
~ ancestral release
~ voice and visibility
~ stepping forward rooted, not brittle
You don’t emerge “new.”
You emerge more yourself.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
I’m Carrie, a Tarot reader, ritual guide & storyteller based in/from Scotland.
My work is shaped by lived experience, ancestral memory and years of guiding others through shadow work in ways that are ethical, grounded and deeply human.
I don’t believe in pushing people toward answers.
I believe in walking beside them as they uncover their own.

FAQ'S
No, you don’t need any prior experience at all.
The Root & Ritual Path is designed for people who are curious, reflective, and willing to listen inwardly, not for those who already “know how to do shadow work.”
Everything is introduced gently, step by step, with plenty of context and choice. You’re never asked to dive in at the deep end or confront anything before you feel ready.
If you do have previous experience, this path often brings a slower, more embodied way of working, one that helps integrate what you may already have touched.
Either way, you’re welcome exactly where you are.
Falling behind doesn’t exist here.
The Root & Ritual Path is intentionally designed without pressure to “keep up.” The teachings are pre-recorded so you can move at your own pace, return to sections as needed, and take pauses when life calls you elsewhere.
Shadow work unfolds in its own time. Sometimes the most meaningful shifts happen in the spaces between.
You’re not failing if you slow down, you’re listening.
No, The Root & Ritual Path is not therapy, and it’s not a replacement for therapeutic or medical support.
This is a reflective, educational, and ritual-based journey that draws on shadow work, folklore, Tarot, and embodied practices to support self-awareness and inner listening.
Many people find it deeply supportive, but it does not diagnose, treat, or replace mental health care.
If you’re ever unsure about what kind of support you need, it’s always okay to seek guidance from a qualified professional.
You’re very welcome here.
This path is created with sensitivity in mind, emotionally, energetically, and neurologically. The pace is gentle, the language is invitational rather than directive, and there is always permission to adapt practices in ways that feel safe for you.
You’re encouraged to regulate first, pause when needed, and choose the depth that feels right in each moment.
There is no “correct” way to experience this work. Your way of sensing, processing, and integrating is honoured.
Yes, many people do.
The Root & Ritual Path can complement therapeutic work by offering reflective practices, symbolic language, and ritual tools that help you listen to yourself more deeply between sessions.
However, it’s important to honour your own capacity and boundaries. If something arises that feels overwhelming, it’s always appropriate to pause and bring that material into a therapeutic space instead.
This path supports self-reflection, it does not replace professional care.
